Cookie policy

This page explains what cookies and similar technologies Devcompute Hub uses and how you can control them.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include localStorage keys used for preferences. They help sites remember choices and understand usage patterns.

Types we use

Essential cookies and storage keep basic functions working, including remembering your cookie consent choice. The site remains usable if you reject optional cookies.

Analytics cookies help us understand aggregate traffic (for example, which pages are visited) when you accept them. They are not required for courses or contact forms.

Cookies table

Name Purpose Duration Provider
devcompute_hub_cookie_consent Stores Accept or Reject preference for the cookie banner Until cleared (localStorage) Devcompute Hub
dh_session Essential session integrity for form abuse prevention when enabled by hosting Session Devcompute Hub / host
_dh_analytics Optional anonymized page-view metrics after consent 6 months Devcompute Hub

How to manage or disable cookies

On first visit, use Accept or Reject on the banner. Rejecting optional analytics does not block site functionality. You can also clear site data in your browser settings, which removes the stored consent key and will show the banner again. Browser controls let you block third-party cookies globally.

Third-party cookies

Embedded fonts or images loaded from third-party CDNs may set their own technical cookies according to those providers’ policies. We minimize such embeds where practical. Review our Privacy policy for how personal data is handled more broadly.

Impact of disabling

Disabling essential storage may cause the consent banner to reappear frequently. Disabling analytics only reduces our ability to see aggregate usage; courses, reading pages, and contact forms continue to work.
